Title: Head Teller 
Dept: NJM Bank

Description:

NJM Bank has an opening for a full-time Head Teller in our soon-to-be-opened Hammonton branch.  

Responsibilities include:
  • Ensuring a high level of customer service is consistently provided by the entire teller staff in a prompt, efficient and accurate manner.

  • Providing leadership through recognizing, coaching, training, and mentoring branch staff.

  • Supporting Customer Service Representatives and Tellers in answering complex questions.

  • Providing efficient customer service during account openings.

  • Demonstrating a high level of awareness of potential fraudulent situations on a transaction and customer level.

  • Providing assistance in successfully achieving branch sales and growth objectives.

  • Verifying validity and accuracy of transaction documents.

  • Performing end of day settlements to include cash counts, vault balancing, cash drawer balancing and daily work transactions.

Qualifications include:
  • Three years of prior banking experience as a Head Teller or other retail banking supervisory role is required.

  • Effective team-building and interpersonal communication skills are necessary.

  • The ability to demonstrate good judgement, problem resolution, decision making and organizational skills are a must.

Title: Teller
Dept: NJM Bank

Description:

NJM Bank has two openings for a full-time Teller in our soon-to-be opened Hammonton branch.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide quality services in opening accounts.

  • Processing customer bank transactions including insurance payments.

  • Verfying the validity and accurancy of transaction documents.

  • Balancing cash drawers and daily work transactions.

  • Providing operational support and balancing for the branch ATM.

  • Adhering to all check cashing, cash handling, audit and security bank procedures.

  • Weekday schedule can vary on a rotating basis to support daily extended banking hours.

Qualifications include:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills along with strong customer service and communication skills are a must.

  • Demonstrates knowledge of required account documentation, features and fees when selling and opening accounts.

  • Prior cash-handling or cashier experience required.

  • Prior retail banking experience is preferred.

  • Must be flexible to work different schedules as early as 7:45 a.m. or as late as 5:15 p.m.
