A Message to Online Banking Customers Who Use Microsoft Money

Microsoft discontinuing sale of Microsoft Money software as of June 30, 2009

To our valued customers,

We know that many of you use commercially-available applications such as Microsoft Money and Quicken as a compliment to our Online Banking offerings. NJM Bank wanted to be sure you were aware of recent changes regarding some of these applications. These changes only impact customers who are using Microsoft Money for personal financial management. Regular Online Banking customers are unaffected by these changes.

After suspending annual updates of Money Plus in 2008, Microsoft has announced that it has discontinued sales of Microsoft Money as of June 30, 2009. Microsoft will continue to support Web Connect and Direct Connect services up to January 31, 2011 for customers using all versions of Microsoft Money, from Money 2007 through the most current version. For more information regarding discontinuation of service, the Microsoft sunset schedule is located at http://www.microsoft.com/money/fi/osp.mspx. Other general information regarding Microsoft Money can be found at the Microsoft Money FAQ, located at http://www.microsoft.com/money/faq.mspx.

NJM Bank is committed to working with you to provide solutions that serve your needs as completely as possible. For this reason we will continue to support the MS Money file format for transaction exports as customers consider alternatives.
